Alpha is an eleven--week practical introduction to Christianity. It explores the relevance of the Christian faith in our lives today. This course is designed to meet the needs of those who have never set foot in a church to those that are regular churchgoers. No matter your background, whether investigating Christianity for the first time or revisiting your faith Alpha has something to offer you.
Each week people gather together for a meal, a talk on topics that include:
* Who is Jesus?
* Why Did Jesus Die?
* How Can I be Sure of My Faith?
* Does God Still Heal Today?
These talks are followed by small group interaction. There is a weekend retreat midway through the course, which focuses on the person and work of the Holy Spirit.
