Men's Ministry

The Men's Ministry at New Town United Methodist Church strives to encourage and strengthen men in their personal walk with the Lord and their connection and leadership within the church community to build stronger families.  Then men's ministry offers opportunities for discipleship, fellowship and service.  To learn more about our Men's Ministry contact our Director of Program Ministries:  Stephanie Turner

Men's Fellowship Monthly Breakfast - meets the second Saturday of each month.  A full breakfast is served, followed by a short program.

Men's Fellowship Service Projects - scheduled periodically throughout the year, with projects together with Housing Partnerships, church event set-up crews and others as needed.

Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry at New Town United Methodist Church seeks to offer opportunities to involve women in discipleship, fellowship, and service, and to be healthy in mind, body and spirit.  To learn more about our Women's Ministry contact our Director of Program Ministries; Stephanie Turner.

Bible Studies:
Daughters of the King Friday morning Bible Study- Meets weekly on Fridays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. from September through June.  Group meets in the sanctuary and childcare is provided.  The typical format uses a curriculum with a lesson on DVD featuring teachers such as Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, Jennifer Rothschild, and Anne Graham Lotz, followed by small group discussion and prayer.

Tuesday Evening Women's Study - Meets weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. from September through June.  Childcare is not available.  The typical format uses a curriculum with a lesson on DVD featuring teachers such as Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, Jennifer Rothschild, and Anne Graham Lotz, followed by small group discussion and prayer.

New Town M & M's (Mary and Martha's) - Meets bi-monthly for fellowship and service with a variety of events such as; luncheons, teas, making school kits and blankets, and also short programs.  M & M's vision is to offer opportunities for all women to meet together and encourage each other to live out their faith in Christ through interaction and service.

Dorcas Designers - Meets monthly on the fourth Monday of the month from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. for crafts and sewing.  Open to all who enjoy meeting together and working on different craft and sewing projects - men are welcome too!  Dorcas Designers host an annual Fall Bazaar with a wonderful variety of hand-made items for sale; the proceeds go to our Church Building Fund.  The Dorcas Designers also make items for our baby baskets, and for Elf's Corner.
